Theme Update: Inspire Busienss WordPress Theme

Hi guys & girls, just wanted to let you know that there is an important update out for our “Inspire Business” theme. One of our clients named David found out that the theme had an issue with the sub menus that caused them to disappear after they pass the “sub-header” section.

So if you bought the theme I suggest you download the update and this issue will be fixed.

Theme Update: Robust WordPress Theme

Hi everyone. In the past few days I had a really hard time helping one of my clients who bought my “Robsust wordpress theme”. The problem was that he wanted to implant Google Adsense ads on his site’s sidebar. But whenever he tried to create a simple text widget and insert the Adsense code inside it – firefox returned a warning and display a blank page.

So I did a little research on the subject and found some interesting topic about this issue that basiclly said that this is a problem with firefox security issue about loading scripts from third party site (and that’s exactly what the google adsense code does). So I thought to myself – Ok that’s not a problem caused by my theme’s coding. Wrong, It acctualy was because my client discovered that this problem is caused only in my sidebar widgets, but when he tried to create the same widget in the footer the code worked perfectly and firefox didn’t had any problems.

So after a few days in which I’ve scanned the internet and my theme from top to bottom I found the 1 line of jQuery that caused this issue deleted it (and of course I created an alternative way of achieving what this line of code was doing) and the issue was solved with a big relief from my side and from my client’s.

So for everyone who is planning on using Google Adsene codes in the sidebar of the “Robust wordpress theme” I suggest you re-download it from themeforest and this annoying problem will be over.

Upcoming Theme: Inspire Business

So as part of my portfolio’s lunch I decide to revive some of my old work and take it up a notch. As some of you may or may not know I had a theme called Inspire-Business that I felt did not present my skills and knowledge at their best so in the next week I’m going to give it a big makeover. That will include adding support for wordpress 3.0 menus, improving the coding and the back-end and of course upgrading some of the design elements.

What going to be more special

Another great thing you should know is that Inspire-Business will be an exclusive premium wordpress theme at Bluz Themes. That means you won’t be able to get it from anywhere except buying it directly from my site. That’s one more step I’m taking in being more independent in this business.

Bluz Themes Is Live!!!

Wooohhhhoooo! Finally I’m proud to announce that my official portfolio is now alive and breathing. I’ve working on it for the past few weeks and I have to say it was pretty fun doing it. As a designer and developer I know how hard it is for myself instead of working on my next project or helping a client, But I decided it was time to create a much more serious and professional portfolio for myself that will display my skills and work at the best possible way.

What’s coming up soon

In the next week or two I’m going to give a wordpress 3.0 updates boot-camp to all my themes that aren’t compatible with it yet. That includes menus support of course and hopefully some more themes and some secret stuff should be out in the near future so make sure you stay tuned and follow us on twitter @BluzDesign.

So as you can see I’m very excited about it and I’d like to hear what you guys think about it any suggestions are strongly welcome!
